About Neil


Neil Monnens has made his mark on the advertising industry as both a thought-leader and online evangelist. He is a principal at MediumDoneWell, a media planning, buying, trafficking and analysis company.

Neil Monnens began his media career at DDB/Needham and Bozell in Los Angeles before moving to San Francisco to work client-side at Oracle Corp., then to ad agency Anderson & Lembke to work on the launch of Microsoft Office 95 and MSN. Neil co- founded WebRep, the Internet's first online advertising representation firm, in 1996. WebRep subsequently merged with 2CANMedia and was purchased by CMGI in 1999. Neil freelanced at Universal McCann planning/buying online media for Microsoft from 2003-2009 then at Pretarget, started programmic advertising before returning to freelance at Swirl on CA Technologies and PG&E, R2Integrated, ROI*DNA and Workfront.
